A new range of highly efficient 2.2 Duratorq TDCi diesel engines powers the new Transit. Combined with Ford ECOnetic Technologies, they can both lower the cost of owning a Transit and reduce its impact on the environment. These advanced engines meet the stringent Euro Stage V emmissions standards, while still producing significantly more power and torque than the previous line up: from 100PS/310 Nm to 155 PS/385 Nm. Each engine has also been carefully developed to meet the needs of front, rear and all-wheel drive models.

6-speed transmission

Now standard across the Transit range, this smooth-shifting 6-speed manual transmission helps reduce emissions and save on fuel costs. It also makes for a more relaxing drive.
